When the trail opens for the season (varies on conditions per year), boat service departs daily at 8:30 a.m. Climb aboard a historic wooden boat on one of five lakes in Glacier-Waterton for a scenic and interpretive boat tour. Round-trip mileage is 7 miles with 1600 foot elevation gain. Customers with reservations for the 2020 season will have the opportunity to receive a 10% discount if they transfer their reservations to 2021, or receive a full refund without cancellation fees. Book a tour around the emerald waters of Lake McDonald—Glacier National Park’s largest lake, or the pristine glacial waters and shoreline of Flathead Lake—the largest lake west of the Mississippi—on one of Far West Boat Tour’s daily cruises. Our tour boats can cut four miles round-trip off the hike to Grinnell Glacier.

Glacier Park Boat Tour Reservations Due to the unprecedented worldwide impact of COVID-19, Glacier Park Boat Company has made the difficult decision to suspend operations for the 2020 summer season.
