The trail begins from the Salt Creek Falls Observation Site, 23 miles (37.015 km) southeast of Oakridge and approximately 5 miles (8.0467 km) west of Willamette Pass. From Hwy 58 look for the signs, turn onto FS Road 5893 and follow the signs. Proceed 12.1 miles, and turn right onto Highway 58 for Oakridge. Salt Creek Falls is Oregon's second tallest waterfall (at 286 ft.) and quite a site to see! The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, and nature trips and is accessible year-round. Go 15.9 miles and make a left turn for the Salt Creek Falls Observation Site.
